Finally, I can wear my favorite winter staples: ankle boots, sweaters and jeans. My kids are sweater averse growing up here in California. They find them restrictive, itchy, and bulky. As a former East Coaster, I couldn't disagree more. Sweaters to me are cozy, comforting and classic. I'm excited to share some great sweaters and more below!

Click the highlighted link for more information. When possible, shop and support your local retailers.

Here is what made my Curious List:

1. M.i.H jeans- Lava Sweater- I love this London based brand and their retro 70's products. This Lava sweater features bell sleeves to give this navy crew-neck some pizzaz. And for those who can't do wool, this sweater is 100% cotton and can easily be worn all year round with white or blue denim.

2. Ganni Wool Sweater- This brand, based in Copenhagen, started in 2000. Their simple, nordic designs are made for everyday. Their sweaters are handmade in Tuscany and knitted with wool and mohair yarn. I am a huge fan of their striped sweaters that are sporty, preppy and modern. This is a fashionable sweater that will keep you warm at any fall tailgate or soccer game while holding its own during an evening out.

3. Sh*t that I Knit Fur Beanie- Yes, you read that name right. With the cool name, beautiful wool products and ethical practices, you can't go wrong supporting this company. The hats purchased are made by Peruvian women and provides these talented ladies with much needed income. And you with an incredible hand-knitted product. Also, every hat purchased goes to Give A Sh*t Knits which supports young adults suffering from cancer. I bought my first hat last year, and they make great holiday gifts. Order early because they do sell out. By the way, the fur pom pom is removable- so smart.

4. AG Ex Boyfriend Crop Jean- If you look closely, you will see the frayed, unfinished edges of the jeans which are pretty trendy now. I wear these un-cuffed to highlight this feature. Also, I bought mine a size smaller than my normal so that the jean has more of a fitted/ slouchy look. This comfy jean is my go-to in my closet and the crop highlights your cool shoes. Especially the ones listed below....

5. Coclico Laeve Bootie- These booties are made in Spain and have a very manageable (to me) 2.5" heel. The neutral color will match a lot in your closet and give your outfit a stylish edge. Love the wooden block heel too.
