It's all about the Teddy Coat

Coat season is here and the Teddy Coat is all the rage. A teddy coat is a fur coat -faux is my preference- as fuzzy and cozy as your favorite, worn teddy bear. The silhouette is slightly oversized with lots of texture and comes in various styles: zip up hoodies, short collared jackets, and full length versions. You will see the teddy in a rainbow of colors this season - burgundy, blue, brown, green- so go with whatever speaks to you!

1. DVF Faux Fur Collared Jacket - This ruby color is gorgeous with jeans or dressed up for a night out. Love the wide cut sleeves.

2. STAND Noemie Faux Fur jacket- Another teddy coat for you. This faux fur is from hip European brand, STAND. The neutral color and shorter length make it perfect for everyday.

3. Canada Goose Slim Fit Packable Down Jacket- A great basic down coat for your closet. The Canadians know cold and this down jacket is warm without being bulky. It is an easy jacket to fold and pack in your suitcase. It also has a handy hood. Five colors to choose from- I really like the dark blue.

4. Hunter Slim Fit Tall Rain Boot: mid-season SALE- Rainy season is no match for these stylish boots. This slim version is more refined than their basic style and even has leopard print lining. On Sale now too! Comes in brown and black.

5. COACH Rose Print Dress- Winter doesn't need to be all dark colors. This delicate silk dress features a beautiful floral print and includes a slip. Wear it with tights and boots, ankle boots or dressy heels. Layer with a leather jacket to add a bit of rock and roll.
